PRACTICE KEY
PRACTICE SUPERVISOR - PS1 Qualification
Due to recent advice received from MA regarding national Officials' accreditation requirements, responsibility and insurance surrounding the MWA Practice Supervisor assessment, MWA has been required to alter the process of how this 'accreditation' is applied.
PS1 is unique to WA and aligns with quarterly track access permits (QTA) but was not part of the MA National Training Framework. Moving forward, to receive 'keys to the track' and maintain QTA permit activities, all new applicants must first complete the MA Level 1 Operational Officials Course (in Ridernet 2.0 - FREE) followed by the Practice Supervisor Course (PS1), via the MWA Website.
Upon completion of both courses, notification will be sent to MWA, where we will add the NATIONAL officials accreditation (ALLOO) on the applicant's Ridernet profile. Riders / Practice Supervisors are then entitled to receive keys to the track (at the clubs discretion).
The courses are available on the MWA website and the Level 1 Operational Officials course is available on Ridernet, through members' profiles or via the links in this email. The cost of the Level 1 Operational Officials, national accreditation is FREE and the PS1 qualification will remain at $50.
MEMBERS WHO CURRENTLY HOLD PS1 - All members who currently hold a PS1 accreditation will remain valid for 2023. However, if members who hold current PS1 and have not completed the Level 1 Operational Official course through Ridernet or MA's learning platform (Thinkific), they will need to complete this course for renewal to take place. This process will record the (ALLOO) accreditation in MA's national training database and Ridernet.

Keys are $120 "per membership year" and are available from the Club Secretary. Key change over will be on the 28th February 2024.
More information regarding becoming a practice supervisor can be obtained from the Motorcycling WA Website.
